Red Ryu and Evil/Shin Ryu are two extra hidden characters or split personalities of the antagonist of Street Fighter, Ryu!
Here is how to play with them.
Firstly, you need to select Ryu and begin the game.
Change into Red Ryu (Ken-Ryu)
Gain a level on your super bar and then hit these motions and buttons on your controls.
QCB, QCB, MP
ie. Quarter-Circle-Back, Medium Punch
Ryu should now have Ken's red attire (gi).
His Hadouken's can now be performed at an angle whilst in mid-air, like Ken.
His Dragon-fist or Dragon-punch, Shoryuuken, is now flaming, like Ken
Change into Evil/Shin Ryu (Akuma-Ryu)
Gain a super bar and as above but with the fierce punch.
QCB, QCB, FP
ie. Quarter-Circle-Back, Fierce Punch
Ryu should now have red eyes and a black gi, indicating Evil/Shin Ryu was successful.
His Hadouken looks more like Akuma's Dark Hadouken and can be done mid-air, in an angle, as opposed to normal Ryu's hadouken which is a horizontal projectile.
Evil/Shin Ryu Mid-Air Super (like Akuma)
Again, get a super bar filled and then whilst in mid-air (and at a good reach and aim of the opponent) perform this move as folows:
QCF, QCF, MP + FP
ie. Quarter Circle Forward x2 , Medium Punch + Fierce Punch
I really enjoy smashing down an opponent with those barrage of hadoukens, whilst defying gravity.
Revert Ryu to Boring White
To revert to the normal, white suited boring version of Ryu, perform:
QCB, QCB, FP
ie. Quarter-Circle-Back, Light Punch
Now go kick some noob-butt with these old-skool dark hadou techniques.
